This watercolour illustration was commissioned for use in a local natural history brochure. The environment was at risk, and needed local interest. This was driven by promoting wildlife and scenic walks in north Nottinghamshire. As a freelance illustrator, I'm often exposed to local projects that need illustrations to help promote their projects. This particular illustration was one of a set of watercolour illustrations for this project.
